I am a Yoga facilitator, Muma, Nurse and a trainee Integrative Counsellor

I grew up in Glastonbury and live in Bristol

Yoga has been a longstanding vessel of support in my life holding and carrying me through the darkness and the light. I am eternally grateful for its teachings.

โ€‹

I am passionate about how we can live our lives with more ease, self kindness and compassion.

I deeply resonate with mind body connection, how experiences, thoughts and emotions can get stored, stuck and show up in our bodies and behaviours.

โ€‹

My experience of life is that at times I can feel disconnected, overwhelmed and alone.

Yoga invites a deep sense of connection, an opportunity to turn down the exterior noise and return to our truest self.

โ€‹

Through trusting the intelligence of the body and building internal awareness I have become acutely aware of the intrinsic relationship between our inner and outer world. How bringing presence and awareness into our Yoga practice can offer compassion and understanding to our emotional and energy body.

โ€‹

My personal Yoga practice and Yoga teachings are an invitation to pause, to turn inwards, to listen deeply, to be guided from within, trusting the wisdom of our bodies. Turning up as we are, surrendering to what is and ultimately learning to be kinder to ourselves.

I have been blessed to train and work with some wonderful teachers for whom I give thanks, Sarah Harlow, Christopher Gladwell, Judy Hirsh, Sally Parkes and Satu Tuomela.

โ€‹

I am nourished by being in nature, swimming outside, moving my body, cooking and sharing delicious food, sitting by a fire, live music, singing and spending precious time with family and friends.

My son is one of my biggest teachers of awareness, patience, questioning my values and a reminder to live in the moment.

I feel very privileged to have been a Nurse for over 19 years supporting people through some of the most challenging times of their lives.

I am inspired by the work of Gabor Mate, Brene Brown, Anodea Judith, Kate Silverton and Sasha Bates

My best friends would describe me as Wise, Authentic, Grounded, Strong, Nurturing and Inspiring.
